A family business built around Land Rover

The Thatched Garage has been part of the local motoring community since 1929, when the site first opened as a fuel station. In 1987, Neil Digby-Clarke took over the business and established it as a specialist Land Rover garage, built around expert workmanship and genuine customer service.

Today, Neil’s son Ben runs the business, continuing that family tradition. We specialise in Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar, with experience covering everything from classic Land Rovers to the very latest models.

Our fully equipped workshop combines specialist knowledge with modern diagnostic equipment, allowing us to provide servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.

We follow manufacturer service schedules, use genuine or OEM-quality parts and can update your vehicle’s online service history. As an independent specialist, we offer the expertise you would expect from a main dealer, combined with a more personal and straightforward approach.

Alongside our workshop, our showroom offers carefully selected used Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar vehicles, prepared by our own team.

We also supply parts, accessories and upgrades, with our workshop able to professionally fit them for you.

The Thatched Garage Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Ref No 1048919) for consumer credit purposes. We do not charge fees for processing finance or insurance products. Please be aware that we may receive an introductory fee or commission from our finance partners.
